Food for Thoughts: Gingko and Rosemary Tincture

Gingko is a new tincture that I made for my parents. Gingko has been recognized by Chinese and Japanese herbalists to support your memory.  They also found it works to restore blood flow to the inner ear to correct tinnitus and hearing loss.

New research suggests Gingko can help us survive radiation exposure.  Herbalists look at the characteristics of a plant to see what benefits it has to humans.  Gingko is the oldest living plant on the planet. The trees can live upwards of 2000+ years surviving radiation, meteors, extremes of cold and heat. It is the only plant that survived the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and has been found as a fossil dating back 270 million years.

I've extracted Gingko and it's companion Rosemary - another brain tonic, with Nettles and Oatstraw, which help deliver the medicine, aid in its absorption and add nutrients such as Iron, Calcium and trace minerals. The gingko leaves were gathered from Gingko Biloba trees in Brooklyn, where I live.  I carefully chose those at the peak of their medicinal content. I grew the Rosemary and harvested the Nettles in Wassaic, NY (upstate).

I am a former RN and trained herbalist. My knowledge about Gingko comes from my teacher with 20+ years experience in herbal medicine, my own use and research on its history and medicinal uses.
