1. What is Reishi Purist and what are Medicinal Mushrooms?

Japanese and Chinese herbalists have used Reishi to treat Cancer and a plethora of other diseases for 5000+ years. There have been no known reports of side effects. Paul Stamets' research has found that blending mushrooms increases their effects exponentially. These mushrooms contain properties that have been found to regulate the immune system, are anti-inflammatory, fight invasive bacteria, viruses and fungi (such as yeast), help fight Cancer, are antihistamines, anti aging and even help protect your skin from the damaging effects of UV light.

Reishi was once reserved for Emperors and is called The Mushroom of Immortality.

This blend of mushrooms contain properties that modulate the immune system, not just boost it. Modulation means the properties calm down the immune system in the case of autoimmune diseases while also managing to fight off invasive microorganisms and cancer cells. In other words these properties bring the immune system into balance.

The Ganoderma Tsugae are wild mushrooms, harvested in the deep woods at the peek of their maturity and medicinal properties. The mushrooms have withstood the harsh New England and Upstate New York climate. Mushrooms are vulnerable to the same diseases as humans. Their defense mechanisms are what we ingest in tinctures. Research suggests that harsh climates causes mushrooms to build up more disease fighting properties and therefore, contain more medicinal properties than warehouse-grown mushrooms. My mushrooms also contain spores (see the brown dust on the large mushrooms - Ganoderma Tsugae - in the picture), which also contain properties that have been found to be anti-aging.

Most commercial Reishi Product makers only extract the mushrooms in water, which does not extract the anti-inflammatory or antihistamine properties. Spiral Herbal Remedies' double decoction method extracts all of the healing properties.

2. Who's Making Your Tincture?

My friends call me the Reishi Whisperer. Reishi shows up for me whenever I'm walking in the deep woods. *** My mushrooms have not been grown in a warehouse.

I worked as a Registered Nurse for 13 years and am in the highest level (III) Herbal Apprenticeship with Master Herbalist Karen Rose of Sacred Vibes Apothecary.

3. Research:

Here is some research made available through the NIH (National Institute of Health) on medicinal mushrooms. And another.

Listen to his informative TED talk about Medicinal Mushrooms by noted mycologist Paul Stamets, who has been studying the relationship between humans and fungi for 30+ years.

4. What's In The Bottle?

Just Reishi - Ganoderma Lucidum and Ganoderma Tsugae. Nothing else. Well ok, I added a little organic, vermont harvested maple syrup so it tastes better.

I grew the Ganoderma Lucidum on a log, outdoors. It does not grow locally.

This tincture comes in a 1 oz or 2oz dark amber bottle with dropper.
Suggested use - 20-30 drops under your tongue and then swallow, 1-3 times a day.

1 oz bottle $35

2 oz bottle $60

Shake well before use. Store in a cool, dark location for longevity and potency. Keep out of reach of children. If you have allergies to any of these ingredients, do not use this product If you have an allergic reaction, stop taking this product.
